Kulur Group Launches Dope Thinkers to Prepare the Next Generation of Visionaries

Dope Thinkers is bridging the opportunity gap by equipping HBCU and MSI students with the tools needed to lead in marketing, communications, and advertising.

HOUSTON, April 29, 2025 – Kulur Group, a diverse-owned challenger brand agency, is proud to announce the launch of Dope Thinkers, a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As the nonprofit arm of Kulur Group, Dope Thinkers is dedicated to harnessing the power of diverse and inclusive thinking to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges and create a world we all deserve to live in.

Through strategic partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), Dope Thinkers enhances academic experiences and scales career readiness for students pursuing roles in marketing, communications, and advertising industries. By embedding real-world experience and mentorship, the organization is helping to shape the next generation of creative and business leaders.

As part of its long-term vision, Dope Thinkers is developing student-run agencies at HBCUs and MSIs to immerse students and emerging professionals into the realities of agency life, from project leadership to client communication and team management. These agencies, set to launch throughout 2025, are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry experience. Students gain first-hand experience in business strategy and campaign execution, along with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to lead, innovate, and launch their own ventures.

“Talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Dope Thinkers exists to change that,” said Nicholas Love, Founder and Executive Director at Dope Thinkers and CEO of Kulur Group. “By providing real-world experience, mentorship and access, we’re making sure students at HBCUs and MSIs have the tools they need to not only succeed in the industry but to own their futures as executives, creative leaders, and agency founders.”

Kulur Group’s extensive experience in omnichannel marketing, brand reputation management, public relations, and business strategy powers the Dope Thinkers programs. This alignment ensures that students gain the practical knowledge and leadership skills necessary to thrive in today’s evolving marketing and communications industries.

In addition to its work with HBCUs and MSIs, Dope Thinkers is also building partnerships with organizations in the medical industry to enhance cultural intelligence around diseases that disproportionately impact communities of color. Through these collaborations, the organization aims to improve health literacy and promote smarter decision-making for better health outcomes.

Corporate sponsors and university leaders are invited to join Dope Thinkers in its mission to redefine leadership pipelines and champion inclusivity across industries.
